Seeing Notch Again, Elastic Band Football Thing... PLUS FOOTLOOSE AND SHAMROCK :D

A few days ago (Tuesday February 24) we went down to visit our buddies again. Notch (my buddy) was pretty excited to see me again. That day we did some activities that had to do with listening again, like walking to the other side of the gym skipping, or line tag while walking backwards or marching. After we played "Fruit Basket" but to be honest, it was a little hard to play in a short amount of time, by the time we finished we only went through one round. It took a while to explain rules to Notch because he always seemed to drift off topic. But it was all good :) At the end though, when we were stretching, it was hard to get him to cooperate and stretch with us because I told him to pick a spot anywhere in the gym and through the whole thing he was trying to get in the Vacant Room behind the brown wall. Now I'm starting to get the idea of Notch not liking to take orders because last time he was cooperating most of the time. But I kept patience and in the end, if he left with a smile on his face it didn't matter.

Ok so today we played this football type game introduced by John, and I had a lot of fun with it. My team (WILDCATS!) worked together really well and I can say we all enjoyed it. The objective was to get the player wearing the rubber band at the end zone without getting their pinnee pulled out. Defenders had to catch the person with the pinnee. My team, THE WILDCATS, won against... OK I forgot your team name sorry guys, but I heard Neuf's other P3 class called us out. Haha. Bring it Sharks.

Tomorrow, Jr. Hip Hop is competing at RC Palmer Secondary for Outbreak and I'm super hyped up for it haha. We will be performing our "Wonka's Factory" set and for Saturday at Shamrock too. I can't wait for both comps and I hope we at least place in both competitions. Wish us luck.

Cambridge Buddies Day One

Okay just putting this out there, my buddy's name shouldn't be revealed but I'm calling him Notch because he loves Minecraft and Notch is the the guy who created Minecraft :)

So today during lunch, our class went to my home, Cambridge Elementary, to become friends and buddies with the younger kids there. They're about Grades 2-3 I think? My buddy, we'll call him Notch, he's in Grade Two, and he has ADHD? (Is it Neuf? I don't really remember) Nonetheless he's a really energetic kid and he likes to do things his own way but he's not too hard to handle, not as hard as I thought anyways. Me and Notch have a few common interests like sports, uplifting music, and video games. He really likes Minecraft, as I mentioned before, and he talks about it a lot, which leads to drifting off topic but it's all cool because to be honest, Minecraft is pretty cool, I play that a lot with my brothers. He likes playing soccer, like my little brother Carlos, so we talked about that for a while, but I'm not really into soccer as much as he is, but he tells me a lot about it. He also enjoys spending time with his friend, Joel's buddy, we'll call him Jeb (Notch's friend who helped create Minecraft) and he likes monster trucks, especially Grave Digger #TeamGraveDigger. Notch was a fun kid to work with actually, despite the cautions we were given and how he doesn't like taking instructions well, he seemed really cooperating with me for 85% of the time which is really good. Spending time with him, it really was fun, it was great to be able to put a smile on his face and he really made me feel like a kid again, talking to him about a bunch of these things I talked about when I was about his age, sports, the coolest songs out there (#BlackEyedPeasFanRightHere), and video games. I can't wait to see him again. He's a fun kid to be around. His smile makes me smile.
