Eat Healthy Guys

Yeah so basically I decided to start the week with some healthy food. I got Quinoa with some cucumbers, bell peppers, and tomatoes along with some low fat feta cheese... :) Mmmmmm... Actually tastes really good.

This weeks results.

So this week was a short week considering it started on Tuesday. We had gym on Wednesday and on Friday. To me, Wednesday was arguably the best day this week because we played basketball (^_^ Yeeeee Boiiiii!). On that day I recorded 10 points (3 Three pointers, 1 Lay Up 100% Accuracy [Ask Arjun]) in 7 minute games and our team played 2 games. I made this fun fore every one by passing it to others before taking a shot. On Friday we did Insanity, not my type of fitness. And we also had an earthquake drill before that :( I really think that Wednesday was the best day this week. ~ End

Community Run!

So yeah, earlier we did the community run for fitness. Basically there were three groups: The Walkers, The Joggers, and The Runners. Since this was basically the first community run this year, I chose the Joggers. The reason being is because I didn't want to go too slow but I also didn't want to go too fast. I felt dead after the run (meaning my ears hurt from being cold). To end this, here's a picture of me and my bro Joel after the run. #DatFace

Gr. 9 Beginning

So far AL is really fun. A new class, some new friends, and old friends make this class enjoyable. This year I hope to achieve most of my goals, since making the basketball team is a no-no (Yeah I didn't make it -.-). I have been trying my best. Peace! :D

Final Report

So clearly, I haven't posted any digital evidence which will surely drop my mark but I'll try searching my phones and cameras for any digital evidence. Over the year I've learned a lot from my teachers and peers. But one thing I've learned that stands out from all of the things I've learned and it was effort. No effort equaled no result. Many times earlier this year I had put no effort in my work and stopped trying easily. Then at my first interview with Mr. Vaughan he asked me what letter grade I decided to give myself. I told him, "I would give myself a B." He said, "Why would you give yourself a B? I think you deserve an A" so I told him, "Because I think my effort that I put in my work is not enough." I haven't brought my best sometimes and that changed during 2nd semester. During 2nd semester, my skills have improved amazingly. At my first beep test, I got a 6.7, now it raised to 9.6. To me, that's pretty amazing. Before when the whole class would run from one side of the gym to the other, I'd be one of the last to finish. Now I finish with everyone else. Basically, if I didn't start trying, I wouldn't have improved this much, maybe I wouldn't have improved at all.

Neuf and Vaughan MUST READ!!!

Since the beginning of the year, I've been enjoying the fact that you guys will not mark us by making us do some sport and tell us that if you don't do this you won't get an A, but rather marking us by doing what's right for us and what's right for our body. I really hope that Active Learning stays Active Learning and not P.E. Thanks for taking your time reading this and I will see you guys next time. :) Peace out.
